Snare Creek Village: Western view of the mountains of Black Woods and Snare Creek. This subdivision is very rural and rustic. Snare Creek gets its name from generations ago, when the Passamaquoddy Tribe taught Elijah Norton to snare moose in the adjoining wetlands. A mixture of wooded land and field, broken by an occasional pond, the original description presented this as a rural residential setting.

 

Blue Heron Circle: The original archive described this subdivision as similar to Snare Creek and aimed at modest budgets; this is historical information.
